Samsung Smart Switch is a freeware phone data migration software app filed under mobile phone tools and made available by Samsung for Windows.
Use the Emergency recovery function in the Smart Switch PC software' The screen stays on for about 30 seconds and then the phone shuts down. I can only do this while the phone is connected to a charger. If it's not connected to a charger, it won't boot up. When I hold the home + power + volume down buttons it goes into ODIN mode. Open 'Smart Switch' on your computer, if need be you can download and install latest version, click here to download Smart Switch. Connect your Galaxy smartphone to your computer with its USB cable. Tap 'ALLOW' on your Galaxy smartphone. Click 'More' on Smart Switch screen on the computer.
